Thank You

Hello crafters!  Another Triple Gemini card, but this one uses the Cepheus die set.  I started with a piece of wisteria card and used the smaller side of the die set to cut into the background four times.  I used the longer decorative piece from the set to cut the design around the outside of the design.  I backed the entire piece with black card, then used Black Soot distress ink lightly around the edges to shadow and frame it.  I matted it with a piece of white card.  I stamped my sentiment from the Large Elegant Sentiment clear stamp set.  I used the inside die from the Madeleine die set to create a frame by cutting it in white.  I backed it with wisteria, then cut the centre out of it.  I added mounting foam and seated it over my sentiment, adding it the the centre of the card.  I cut three butterflies from the Butterfly Background die and glittered them all with Diamond Snow (using spray glue) and added them on to my card.  I completed the card with white, wisteria and black mats.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Stunning card , lovely. Thank you Sue
Elaine, how is Andrew doing, you must be so worried about him. Caring thoughts to surround you all.
Tina, what good news about Peter going to his shed, now that he is more comfortable and eating do well he is coming on a treat. I need some of those pies .
Steph, you should not be angry with yourself, you have taken the sensible route to put your health first, you can't help being ill, don't punish yourself. Just remember your family want you safe and with them.
Lorraine, sorry I called you Laine yesterday, I knew it was you too.
June, you are progressing well to be on crutches now, won't be long before you are fully mobile but please don't rush it.
Norah, great news that Harry is walking, he will be everywhere at once now, happy days lol.
Hugs to all, esoecially Tracey,Wheeley andBilly, Lorraine, Laine, PP and all who are not well.

Good morning Sue and crafters all,
Lovely card today , I love the way you have used this die, unfortunate not to own this one.
What a clever way to give it that slight distressed look.
Pam - if you loved near by I would make you some. Peter even made his treacle tart when I was baking yesterday. He ate a good portion of the meat and potatoe pie with carrots, peas and mashed potato. After that he had a small pot of manderins in jelly, We eat a main meal at tea time, then at 9pm ate a quarter of his treacle tart with ice cream . Not for me as it would put my sugar levels out of the roof!!!!!
June Smith - keep up the good work, you soon will be fully fit.
Love and crafty hugs to all,
Tina T xxxxx

Morning Sue. Another Monday another week (is it my age but these weeks fly by so fast) and yet another beauty to help us start a week of the unknown. Maybe because I use my phone to browse my fav CE team blogs, the main colour looks either grey or silver, I was surprised to read it was one of my favourite colours - Wisteria. My dear friend treated me to a pack when it was first released and I love it so much I'm extra frugal with it just like my blush card lol I'm choosy about which cards I use them on !
A day in the warm, and a day with yourself and John catching up with your beautiful festive collection, I'm starting to look at my kitchen roll in a different light now thanks to John lol but even though he goes at it like a bull in a China shop he always makes the most lovely background with it, I dread to think what kind of mess id make of it ! But heyho, you've either got it or not and I'm afraid I'm just not that artistic or mindful to think up such clever ideas, but my day was non eventful but I gathered ideas, and really enjoyed fast forwarding many many shows both recent and from years ago to help jog my mind how I can bring my 'older and well loved' festive dies from your very first launch back to the top of my storage box and introduce them to the couple I have got from this year, all I need now is to feel like doing something, and when I do, it has to be my non gender specific baby cards cuz I can see them going away in my New Additions storage tub all cut and ready for use, and left until the new year to be made up. Here's a top... I wash out my Vanish gold tub for these little animals to live in and even though it's washed and rinsed several times it leaves the most daintiest, pretty smell on your card which last for ages and it's lovely to have that on a new baby card or on your die cut flowers.
Well my two have just got back so I'm leaving you with my usual daily hug Sue and wish you a lovely day. Thank you for a gorgeous start to our week xxx

Hi Sue
A very beautiful card , i love your butterflies.

It was a very long day For Andrew Yesterday , he had an Xray and a ct scan ,that didnt show anything sinister, so they thought it may be a faecal blockage ,so he was given an enema however with his BP being so low he passed out and smacked his head very badly, having to have 15 stitches .
He was finally settled at 10 45 pm so very tired and badly bruised with an IV drip of Paracetamol and not in as much pain , so hopefully he managed to get some sleep .
We hope this has sorted the problem ,he will have something to eat today ,so fingers crossed .
We have to phone at midday , not sure if he will be allowed home ?, he has an appointment on
Wednesday for Bloods and general pre assessment before treatment number 3 on Thursday.

I will catch up with you all later today at some time.
Sending the usual hugs to all
Take Care

Hi sue and craft friends.

Very nice never thought of using them in this way. Everyday is a school day as they say lol. X

Well ladies I go back to work a week today so I'm trying my best to enjoy my last week doing just what I want an not bothering with anyone else lol. I've been busy with my Xmas cards and as I've s phased returns over the 6 weeks I'll be using the spare time for more Xmas cards lol.
It's just a shame I'm hitting the Xmas rush I hate Xmas time working in retail and I'm not allowed to do the nightshift this year and to be honest I don't think I'm fit enough to do it anyways lol.
The thought of working on the shop floor the week running up to Xmas fills me with dread lol I just hate crabbit people who can't find what they want but have had months to get it!! LOL oh well the joys. I'll just keep smiling :-D x

June glad ur on the mend. Keep up the good work.
Elaine. Oh my poor Andrew he's getting a right crap time of it. Wishing u all well tho. X
Lynda b. Halo ma wee pal. Have u had all ur tests done etc?
Wendy. Enjoy ur last week and I hope something comes up for u soon.

Julie laz. Any word on your eye transplant? I remember a wee while ago u we're asking about it. Did u do ur research? Xx
